It’s easy to look past what you have already accomplished and go straight to the next goal on your list.
I was shopping recently and I grabbed a TJMAXX bag that had horses on it. I mentioned to the lady checking me out that I love to grab the $0.99 bags to use for horse stuff, and I knew I needed this one because it had horses on it.
She asked how many horses I had. I said “just one.” Her response was priceless. “Just one! Even just having one is a huge accomplishment.” It really took me aback.
I have worked incredibly hard to have what I do today. There were days just 5 years ago where I wished to be where I am today.
Today’s Lesson - don’t “just” your accomplishment away. Own them. Celebrate them. Be proud of them
